1. There is no parking lot, but the valet fee is acceptable when you compare it to parking in the nearby high-rise garages.

2. We were able to get a decent rate as a Marriott Rewards members - $195/night (although still a little hard to swallow with tax and daily parking fees but it was our five year anniversary).

3. As a Gold member you also dont pay the internet fee which I think is insane that a hotel in this day and age would even consider charging a room for internet access.

5. According to the desk clerk, the hotel was less than a third full for the weekend, and yet there were no water view rooms available without paying a significant 'upgrade' fee.

6. The Counting Room on the 2nd floor serves a continental breakfast in the morning for a fee and the bar also opens up at 5pm.
