3. It may be a bit of a walk from the North End and Fanueil Hall, but you'll be right next to a T stop, Charles Street and great Beacon Hill shops, the Charles River, and Cambridge is just across the bridge.

4. On top of all this, beautiful Beacon Hill with its historic, Colonial era homes, shops, brick sidewalks, cobblestoned side streets and gaslamps is literally across the street as well, and a walk through the hilly avenuess is well worth it.

6. Friendly staff and complimentary champagne at check-in, turn down service, etc. Our room was nice and fairly quiet for Boston which was nice not to have a lot of street noise.
