For our purpose the place was great - IF you are doing the tourist thing ( Freedom trail, Boston Common etc etc.) there are places better located & this hotel does not have many restaurant choices close by - a few but I'd consider it a little "out of the action" - we found a pack of cigarettes and some other "leftovers" in the room - but it was basically very clean- affordable for Boston and suited us for a one night stay.
