2. I pulled back the bed sheets to inspect the bed, and while the sheets appeared clean, the mattress cover was one of those single-layer thin covers that don`t cover the entire mattress -- like the ones you usually find at lower-priced hotels.

3. I guess if I were in charge that night I would have sent someone down to the local 24 hour Wal Mart and picked up some sheets and a blanket.
