1. When I went through the lobby Saturday afternoon, however, it was a different story with a long line, but it seems to be moving reasonably given not only the check-in procedure but the briefing that the desk clerks have to give the guests regarding the coupon book, layout of the hotel, hours of the pool, ect.

6. Exiting from the Monaco Tower takes one into a nicely appointed elevator lobby, but as soon as leaving the elevator lobby, you encounter strong smells of cigarettes.

9. Supposedly the renovated rooms are in the MonteCarlo tower where we were but neither our friend staying on floor 53 or our floor of 59 saw any signs of them other than the posters in lobby.
