2. I liked that they offer free water when you walk into the hotel after a morning run/walk and in they also supply a local map of all the places to eat and shop.

4. There are lots of nearby dining and shopping options as well, many within walking distance, like Barnes & Noble, Gymboree, and Amy's Ice Cream (yum).

Pros:+ Although as has been noted, the hotel is little faded (for example the marble on the steps to the pool is missing in places), overall the hotel is in good condition+ Good value compared to the downtown hotels+ Lots of restaurants within walking distance (and also US stores for international travelers to buy from Gap/Target etc).
