We enjoyed an afternoon at the Domain, where we spent time shopping at some fabulous stores and enjoyed a wonderful
dinner
at Joe Dimaggios.

We didn't eat
dinner
there, so can't comment on that, but this was really a nice, well-run hotel in an upscale area with lots of shopping and a local restaurants.

Beds were comfortable, there is other food choices nearby (Don't miss Rudy's BBQ!) at better prices, at least for lunch and
dinner
.

We walked down the hill to a restaurant and the hotel sent a car to pick us up after
dinner
(long story - we actually wanted a cab to pick us up at the restaurant to go downtown, but the restaurant could not get in touch with the cab company, so they called the hotel and they sent someone to pick us up - cabs stay in front of the hotel most of the time).

Easy walking to Eddie V's for
dinner
(great restaurant overall, ask them to go easy on the pepper if you order steak), decent breakfast at the hotel.

My husband and I had to travel to Austin the week before Thanksgiving to look at restaurants to use for the rehersal
dinner
for our son`s wedding in March on Lake Travis and we also were looking at a private home advertised on VRBO to stay in at that time.
