1. The Assistant Front Office Manager, John Frazier, checked us in and did everything to make our visit memorable and comfortable.

Stayed a total of seven nights at the Clift good location close to union square great door staff and friendly manager , concierge good , some of the reception ladies not so friendly Do not walk in area behind hotel it's not great Definately try the farmers Market at the ferry building , thurs and satFriday evening food fair at fort Mason and the bars at haight and dogpatch a trio to mission is also a must.

4. The front desk manager upgraded us to a one bed suite and let us check into our room at 9am which was the best way to start our stay.

5. As we were checking out of our hotel, we asked the front office manager for his recommendation on what time we should plan on leaving to take the BART to the airport.

8. My few dealings with the staff were excellent - the front desk folks were terrific and a manager from the gorgeous art deco lobby bar (which was hopping at 1 a.m. on a Thursday) couldn't have been nicer when she told us we couldn't have our cocktails in the lobby.
