7. Valet parking is pricy, and while you can go around the corner for half the price, it was full the day I arrived, and the clientele standing around created an unsafe environment in my view.

8. Parking tip: We recommend parking at the 24 hour parking garage right around the corner of the hotel, they charge $30, whereas the hotel charges about $50 for valet parking.

9. Valet parking is the only choice if you come with a car, and it is not cheap, about the only drawback to this hotel.

10. We had booked the free parking package which was a terrific deal for a spot so close to Union Square- we pulled up in front of the hotel and our car was valet parked for free in supervised ramp around the corner.
