1. A few minutes after arriving in our very cute, clean, and rather spacious (for downtown SF) room, room service arrived with complimentary champagne and a note from the manager congratulating us on our wedding.

4. there is quite alot of down and outs in the area which i thought would be a problem but not at all didnt bother us one bit even late at night simply cannot say enough about how good this hotel is it is in downtown san francisco make sure you book this one as there is one in china town to.

6. 'There are plenty of more affordable, hip hotels in San Francisco that offer what the Monaco does - and if you're willing to ride BART for about 20 minutes, you could stay at a much nicer version of a hip hotel in downtown Berkely for nearly a third of the money.
