Fortunately it wasn't cleaned, nor was it clean 5 hours later when we returned, so we were graciously moved to a lovely King Executive on the 3rd floor: 2 windows, lovely
view
to the garden, spacious.

I actually can't think of anything really bad about this hotel except our room's
view
at the neighbouring brickwalled backyard.

It would have been nice to have a
view
of the street or at least be woken up by natural light rather than being continually dark and gloomy.

Our room was spacious for a boutique hotel in an older building, though with no
view
and just one window (which we decided to enjoy as cozy.

Room was a bit cramped, no
view
(brick wall 2 feet away,) but still clean and well run.

I would suggest going in the early afternoon as the low cloud seems to clear by then and you get the best
view
s, but the cloud does come back in later in the day (around 5pm when we were there)Wine country tourVery enjoyable, not just because of the wine but also the tours are interesting and you get to spend some time in Sonoma where you have lunch.
"Good location but small room and very gloomy decor "

Free wine at the end of the day and a long list of amenities including free wi-fi do not diminish the monastic, claustrophobic experience of the dark hallways and the tiny rooms, rooms without
view
s or sunlight to announce the dawn.

We had a
view
of the back parking area and the backs of other buildings, but we could have cared less.
