I went down at 7 a.m. the next morning because I did not want to spend one more night in that room (which wasn't any lighter during daylight hours) and a new front desk clerk was very helpful and let me look at two different rooms, one of which was on the 6th floor and had far more room and light (and actually had phone reception).
