8. Would also recommend Fino's Italian restaurant on Post which is about a 5 minute walk from hotel although best to book and Swiss Louis's restaurant at Pier 39.

9. The primary positive about this hotel is its location - a block from Union Square and within easy reach on foot of plenty of shops and restaurants.

10. We also used a bus stop that is 5 minutes away to get to the old Italian district in North Beach with great restaurants.
