1. Overall the hotel was very quiet and the location was extremely convenient to the Magnificent Mile, quality restaurants, Lake Michigan, and other attractions downtown.

2. The location was perfect, just across the street from The Drake, not far from the Lake, right around the corner from the Magnificent Mile, and a few miles from Rush Street were we went dancing.

3. I was visiting Chicago with a group of friends and we wanted a location that was convenient for the sights and the lake, but also easy enough to get back to after some nights out, so the Knickerbocker matched that well.

10. The lack of any positive greeting from doormen/bellmen, as well as the really poor space and service in the restaurant at breakfast (I left after 5 minutes of being ignored) led me to happily explore the Drake's dining room for literally a few dollars more :) I highly recommend trying out the Drake with its Lake Michigan views during your stay for an opulent peaceful breakfast.
"Great Glass Rain Shower and Location! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/5/2012 Vote
