1. Overall the hotel was very quiet and the location was extremely convenient to the Magnificent Mile, quality restaurants, Lake Michigan, and other attractions downtown.
2. The location was perfect, just across the street from The Drake, not far from the Lake, right around the corner from the Magnificent Mile, and a few miles from Rush Street were we went dancing.
3. I was visiting Chicago with a group of friends and we wanted a location that was convenient for the sights and the lake, but also easy enough to get back to after some nights out, so the Knickerbocker matched that well.
4. The hotel is perfectly located 1/2 block from Michigan Avenue for easy access to shopping and public transportation while providing a quiet setting and about 3 blocks from Lake Michigan and the Museum of Modern Art.
5. One block off (Magnificent Mile) Michigan Ave, a couple from the Lake, a nice walk from Navy Pier and Beaches.
6. yes, the rooms are on the small side but are extremely clean and well-appointed (flat-screen tv, fridge, nice view of the lake, and VERY clean and upscale bathrooms with a very cool 'rain' shower).
7. The motel is located at the top of the Miracle Mile and is within easy waking distance of great shopping, the Hancock tower, the Newberry museum, and the lake front.
8. It was very hot during our stay there, but we still opened our window, which always provide a nice strong consistent breeze come off the lake.
9. Very close to the Lake and to the shops at 900 Michigan.
10. I also took the 151 bus, both north alongside Lake Michigan, as well as south to the Chicago River to catch the Chicago Architectural Society's skyscraper boat tour, which is a must!90 minutes of history that shouldn't be missed.
