1. There is a lovely piano bar in the lobby, as well as a nice restaurant, and some lounge areas that are very cozy.

6. If you're in Chicago mid-week this is the best time to head for the Hancock Tower bar on the 96th floor as it gets very busy on the weekend; if you can get there just before sunset you can see Chicago turn from day to night - spectacular views and reasonably priced drinks.

8. This hotel features a really nice bar that seems to stay open pretty late, a coffee shop, fitness room and a spa- unfortunately, I didn't get to check that out but maybe next time .

10. The location can't be beaten - just off Michigan Ave so you're moments from great shops, bars, restaurants & minutes from the beach but its on a quiet street so you can escape to your room or the hotel lobby after a long day of sight seeing.
