1. We booked there any way and our surprised was bigger when we discoverd that this place is really well located (between down town and mid town) facing the river, walking distance to the lake and the magnificent mile (for thouse who enjoy walking) lots of restaurants nearby and the best, is that you do not even have to go out side the building to get the subway station(in case is snowing or raining).

4. To the South I looked straight down the Chicago River, with the Lake Street 'L' crossing, and the entrance to Union Station and the Oligive Transportation Center Station.

6. The hotel is also is a great location - right on the river and easy walking access into downtown, over to Michigan Ave and lake, and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the River North neighborhood where the hotel is situated.

7. If I was staying for vacation or personal, I'd try to stay in the River North area, Magnificient Mile area, or near Lake Michigan.

10. it's not only connected to the Merchandise Mart and the Brown line train station, it's an easy walk across the river to the Clark/Lake transit point and there is always a taxi stand in front of the hotel.
