1. There was a subway stop nearby but the location was within walking distance to many of the attractions we wanted to see (Central Park, Times Square, Broadway play, Lincoln Center).

2. you shouldnt be in this industry if you dont even no where your main tour operator iswhen you walk into the hotel lobby the door men stand there like arnold swarzenegger staring at you making you feel not welcome especially after a 5 hour walk around newyork with a 7 year old and a 3 yr old we get into the lobby and stopped just by the stairs to look through our bag for the card to get into our room my 7 year old was so tired after our day out she went to sit on the steps to wait for me to find the card next minuite the door man approached her and said 'excuse me can you get up off the stairs the bosses are here today.

3. I was extremely worried after I booked last January THEN read the reviews - stayed in 704 and was surprised at the large main room, new carpet - obviously a very old hotel on it's third or fourth renovation - TV was very old but free internet hook-up the whole time - the bathroom was very small and if I was much bigger I couldn't have sat on the toliet as the door was in the way - stayed for five nights - the first two nights were very quiet but after that a tour moved in - our neighbors slammed their door at least 10 times a night - within walking distance to many attractions but remember that in NY york that means about 10 blocks!- only one block and turn right to find a strip of many nice restaurants - tour guides told us to always eat west of 9ave as it runs through neighborhoods where restaurants rely on repeat customers - had a nice stay until the doorman offered to get us a car to the airport for $45.00 - a taxi is only $25.

4. It's a bit further west than I've stayed before in the city but only a few blocks from the subway and it was kind of nice to walk out of the craziness of midtown into a quieter neighbourhood.
