we booked a car for the return journey to the airport this was done at the front desk it
cost
$60 including tolls and tip took just over 40 mins to jfk, much better than being stuck in the airlink van transfer for god knows how long as we were on the arrival pick up from jfk.

On a brighter note the

of valet parking was reasonable ($25/day) and we did get our car back quickly without any noticable scratches.

If you want to get to this hotel from JFK airport for less than 8dollars do the following: from JFK get the air train to Howard Beach Station(

5dollars) then you need to get the A train to 59th street (
cost
2.25 dollars) and then from there you can walk 2 blocks.

We upgraded to breakfast but found out that it was only a $20 voucher which didnt cover the
cost
of breakfast for two so you had to put extra to the bill.
