3. Overall though, for a 3-star hotel, we felt it was fine and the fact the rooms were clean and confortable and the staff courteous meant it met our needs for the price and was good value for a Midtown hotel.

5. On a budget and very overwhelmed by so many hotels the Holiday Inn was everything we wanted - a comfy bed, great service, close to subway and great value.

The only downside was booking this way landed us a smoking room when we wanted non-smoking and there were no nonsmoking alternatives available however the room was well aired and fresh and didn't even smell of smoke, It had operable windows which was refreshing and we had room service dinner which was excellent value for money and HUGE portions.

7. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, fairly central and not too worried about the standard of your accomodation then this is fine, but I would'nt stay here again, there are other hotels that give much better value for money, and have much better bathrooms.

10. We had a fab time in New York and were not disappointed by the hotel at all ,we got good value for what we paid for and we will def return and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants cleanliness comfort and good location,.
