1. It's conveniently located two blocks from the subway and is right down the street from a great grocery store, fantastic restaurants, a bakery, etc. Also, Central Park is only a five minute walk from the hotel.

3. great specialty grocery with deli on street level) where we get our 'to-go' sandwiches for the flight back home along with a couple of loaves of specialty bread/bagels, sometimes cheese, etc. A New York deli, Artie's, at 2290 B'way near 83rd Street for matzo ball/chicken broth (like penicillin) soup, a hot pastrami sandwich with complimentary sides of cold slaw and pickles, a chocolate cream (drink) and real New York cheesecake, if space permits -- I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

7. We lucked out and got street parking, free for 4 days, we had to alternate the car to the otherside of the street once during the trip but the doorman was helpful and gave us his spot.
