2. On the minus side: huge charges for anything extra (if you touch the minibar it automatically registers so watch out--and one receptionist wanted $200 for a late check-out; asked again later and recieved free 2 p.m. check-out), uneven service (many staffers seemed completely indifferent), no lobby, nowhere to sit down in reception area, guests were sitting in the fire place.
"OK, not excellent " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/12/2010 Vote
3. Negatives: I weary of reviews complaining about high parking fees and room service charges - that's the norm folks!- but was very put off by (1) being charged for using the minibar (no item identified, it just said "Minibar Revenue" - nice for them.

4. Our room opened to a short entry with hospitality area (tabletop and minibar) which leads immediately to a very nice living room area (big I-Dream-of-Genie couch) with desk and reclining chair and big window, and then mirrored french doors to the bedroom and bathroom.

7. The only complaint we had was that we had to ask three times for a fridge to be brought up and that there was a random $7 minibar charge on checkout even though we never even opened the door - but it was taken care of with no hassle.

10. ), when I did not use the minibar(front desk removed the charge but with no apology and a routine manner than suggested it was standard to impose a fictitious charge and then to remove it if there was a complaint), and (2) being charged for local phone calls for having checked the voicemail on the hotel's own system (my guess is they would have removed this if I had complained but I did not notice it unitl after leaving the hotel).
