1. It took maybe 5 or 6 calls to speak to a manager who was pleasant and offered me 'a pot of tea' by way of compensation.

2. What was truly fantastic was the use of the Managers Car - its on a first come first serve basis but the driver will take you anywhere in the city within a 20 block radius - we loved being chauffered around in style and the driver was delightful.

7. Without exception the staff were courteous and professional and we were even personally welcomed by the general manager who sent up a bottle of (good, not house!) Champagne when he discovered we were newlyweds, I can't remember the last time I met the GM of a good hotel.

8. - very well arranged rooms, with lots of space- excellent value for a suite- terrific and helpful staff, eg Marianne McCann, Front Office Manager- great central location- helpful Concierge staff- very practical rooms, esp the desk.

The shower was powerful and the products lovely and I absolutely fell in love with the dressing gown (so should have brought one to bring home!)Staff - We had an incredibly warm welcome on arrival from Front Desk Manager, Michael High, who sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room to help us celebrate the first day of our Honeymoon.
