1. The Spa oversubscribes membership to non-hotel guests as the ladies steam/ sauna facilities were so busy that you would have to queue to use them- this is why there were benches to wait outside each one.

2. The Spa was so serene and tranquil (and quite large)--I enjoyed a 2 hour Peninsula Ceremony involving hot jade stones the day before the night Irene hit, and also tried the relaxation lounge and steam room.
