1. It's New York, so expect slightly smaller spaces (in both rooms and common areas) and the aloofness that accompanies urban living from employees.

2. The management and personnel are excellent, the restaurant and bars are very good (especially breakfast) and the rooms are very nicely furnished with comfortable beds and everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel.
