1. Great rooms, front desk, housekeeping, and the Gotham Lounge were great.
"Fantastic " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/4/2012 Vote
2. The only minor complaint I have is the front desk staff, while courteous and efficient, I found that we needed to ask questions to items I would have expected them to be more forthcoming with, for example, our room rate included many extras (breakfast, hotel credit, newspaper, etc.).

3. Jason Ledoux (the Director of the Front Desk) could not be bothered to pick up the phone to help us work out what the alternative options might be but instead informed his staff that we could pay 300 USD extra a night to upgrade to the next room category (which also has much smaller windows than average for NYC hotels).

9. We were greeted by highly professional and friendly staff at the front desk, the concierge (special thanks to Angela) treated us with great care and made the perfect recommendations to suit our needs (mom and 13 year old daughter), and the room was luxurious, comfortable, and wonderfully serviced including consistent delivery of the New York Times.
"Exceptional Service and Luxury Accomodations " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/15/2008 Vote
10. However, the front desk personnel (two different people) did not alert us to any of this (us or our travel mates), we had to ask.
