1. Like the other reviews stated, it's not the Ritz - but for a great place to stay, in a nice, accessible neighborhood, with excellent, friendly service, the Eastgate Towers did not disappoint.

2. Stayed there with son/daughter-in-law and two grandchildren in early December, 2011 - great stay; close to mid-town events and walkable to Times Square/5th Avenue, Rock Center and many other places; good neighborhood.

3. The neighborhood is OK (there is a very nice apartment building next door), but the traffic noise would be a distraction if on a lower floor or on the west side.
