1. The maid stopped by every day to make beds, change towels, etc. The hotel did not have a restaurant, but only minutes away is the Frontier Diner, they offer breakfast, lunch & dinner with free delivery.

2. Try Gallaghers Steakhouse on W52nd for greats steaks and atmosphere (expensive), Mars 2112 on Broadway for fun lunch, Macy`s Cellar Bar/Grill for burger lunch, Nuovo Latino at South Street Sea Port for Cuban style food at good price.
