1. Add to this the wonderful breakfasts, friendly staff, expertise from Al the manager and the charm, wisdom, friendliness and humour of Jay the proprietor resulting in, what I believe is the best place to stay whilst in New York City then you are on to a winner.

It was also my husbands birthday that week - and the hotel manager Jay left beautiful- flowers in our room with card on the day which were a lovely touch - my husband thought it was lovely and he had a great birthday Breakfast was available until 11am which was nice if you wanted to sleep in - a nice mixture of fruits, pastries, bagels, cereals and yoghurts with tea and coffee.
