It is reasonably priced and a good
downtown
location close to Highline, Eatily, West Village etc. The rooms are super clean, and good size by NYC standards.

Location is handy as it is one block down to the fantastic Chelsea markets where you can get delicious foods (as well as a lovely Anthropologie store!); it is about 2 mins walk to the closest underground station where you can head either
downtown
to the ferry for Liberty/Ellis Island in about 5 mins or uptown to Madison Square Gardens, Macys and the Empire State Bldg, The Rockereller etc in about 10 mins and Central Park in about 15 mins.

Walk, or take the subway, you are minutes away from Broadway, the Park,, the Village,
Downtown
, etc. Take in as Al's suggested lunch spots, which were terrific, and you are all set.
