1. The bathrooms are gorgeous; the bath and bed linens are luxurious, and above all, the rooms are spotless.

2. My room with private bath was clean and comfortable and was in the back, making it very quiet (there is a small school in the back with kids out playing during the day, but I didn't find this to be a problem).

3. There were so many nice little touches like the wall mounted flat screen TV's, the wonderful assortment of bath amenities from Gilchrist & Soames,the iPod docking stations to charge my iPhone and the great (and free!) high speed wireless internet throughout the hotel.

5. The bad: on the surface the room looked spotless and the bath was clean but I kicked a shoe under the bed and upon retrieval omg the dirt and debris under the bed, eek.

7. Fantastically helpful and friendly staff, Hollywood stars themed comfy rooms, free wifi, Gilchrist & Soames bath products, free business center and a cat named Charlie located near the Apple store, Chelsea Market and so much of what makes lower Manhattan the electric hub of the city.
