1. We had paid extra for an upgraded room but were a little disappointed with the size & view (we asked for good view)The location was excellent for exploring NY and found the staff to be very helpful.

4. We had a room that viewed the front street which was nice (not too many of those maybe 3 per floor), not sure what other rooms would face if on the interior.

5. Just at the end of the block you get a great view of the Empire State Building - a good landmark to get your bearings when sightseeing.

7. Top Tip- check out the view from the rockafella center as it's better than the empire state and it means you get a great view of the empire state.

8. We had a queen deluxe room to the rear of the hotel which was dark due to the high buildings nearby , but this did not spoil our visit - the views of New York while sightseeing more than make up for this.
