1. Location is great - 2 blocks from subway, fine/not noisy neighborhood, walking distance (some across the street!) to good food.

2. If you like Korean food, check out- Mandoo Bar restaurant on west 32nd, Post-office is down the street on west 31st, or go to the 9th floor of Macy's for post office.

5. Also has decent food options all around including Empire Pizza straight across the street, Pho 32 vietnamese noodles up on 32nd Street and the best coffee in New York not far away on 29th Street at the Stumptown Coffee Roasters.

6. The hotel bar has 'happy hour' 4pm - 10pm!which is well worth it and the food was nice too.

9. A very good hotel - very clean, attentive and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and room service, good food and drink in the smallish bar, close enough to walk to the main tourist spots but, being just off 5th Avenue, away from the 'hustle and bustle' and city noise at the end of the day.
