1. The Queen sized bed was very comfortable and the room had a chair, desk, small table, two wardrobes, flat screen HD TV, a mini-bar, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, umbrella, etc. The bathroom offered complimentary toiletries and the 'rainfall' shower made for a great showering experience.

The week we arrived, the complimentary breakfast and evening drinks had stopped although the hotel refurb was quite obviously still a work in progress (correction - we got 1 free drink in the bar as workmen installed the mirrors to the bar back drop)Workmen held the door open as often as the door staff.

4. That being said, during our entire stay, they compensated each guest with complimentary morning breakfasts and Wine & Cheese events from 5-7PM located in a suite on the second floor.

5. Great hotel, excellent service, great staff, hotel was undergoing renovations to lobby with little or no effect on guests, to compensate hotel were giving complimentary breakfast and wine and cheese each evening for a few hours, very kind and enjoyable.

8. There was some maintenance going on in the hotel and although it didn't interfere with us in any way the hotel provided complimentary services such as a free breakfast (coffee, tea, buns and fruit) and wine and cheese for a few hours from 5pm.
