3. The suite has 2 flat secreen TV's, a microwave, a fridge, a pantry, a dining table with 3 chairs, 2 sofas in the bedroom, 1 large sofa (can seat 3) in the hall, a work table with chair, at least 3 other chairs, plenty of storage space, a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, a large toilet with 2 sinks (on the 17th floor--1708), 2 huge comfy beds, 2 A/C's, etc, etc, etc. Yes, it would have been better if the hotel had a restaurant or two, a health club, a swimming pool, a good view of Central Park & the Hudson.

8. Indeed the rooms are big for New York, and in any medium priced New York hotel the view is going to be of opposing buildings, as it is such a built up city.

10. We complained!in the end we walked to the Helmsley- about 5 minutes- to find a great room and view and although we had to give extra tips and then lug our luggage back to the Salisbury the next morning to have breakfast there and store our luggage until check in time, the hotel compensated us and it worked out ok.
