Staff is friendly, across the
street
you'll find NY's best burger tucked away in the Parker Meridien and on the corner there are fine choices for breakfast (Cafe Europa for example).

The hotel itself was very quiet but being on 57th
street
, which is a busy two-way
street
(I know what
street
in NYC isn't busy!?) you have to expect some traffic noise.
