1. A solid building, the hotel is quiet and comfortable -- heating was great; beds were really comfortable; amenities included microwave, coffee maker, fridge and safe, and a good-sized room.

9. Only the Salisbury and the Park Central (where we have also stayed) are in close walking distance to Lincoln Center, have reasonable amenities, and reasonable rates.

10. The Salisbury is not for people who want to stay in their hotel and enjoy lux amenities, but a great find for those who want a perfectly located, safe, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to hang their hats while exploring the city.
