1. We have stayed at the Hyatt down the street which is also nice but no swimmable beach.

3. We mostly just cooked something at our place and dined one night at Keoki's (great food) across the street and the other at the Smith Family Luau (great thing to do for families).

4. Roy's across the street in the shopping area was also wonderful but loud and hated the seating.

5. Almost accross the street is a little outdoor mall with some highend restaurants (Keoke's/Roys etc), some fun local spots like Pookadog, and a staple for many, Starbucks.

6. It was also very nice to be a short walk from the Poipu shopping village (Roy's, Keoki's Paradise, etc) and the Casablanca restaurant across the street - having dinners where no one has to be the designated driver is always a win.

8. I have been hanging out on this beach and have bought both food and souvenirs in the store on almost every trip over while visiting friends who have a condo down the street.

10. Definitely check out Joe's at the golf course across the street for breakfast, and try Brick Oven pizza in nearby Kalaheo.
