1. We did end up doing a lot of driving to Lihue, Princeville, Hapaa, etc. for groceries, restaurants and activities, but everything is so beautiful it's a pleasure to see it all.

2. Almost accross the street is a little outdoor mall with some highend restaurants (Keoke's/Roys etc), some fun local spots like Pookadog, and a staple for many, Starbucks.
