1. Most of the food available is of the standard American ilk (lots of burgers, grills and variations on the above), but as I said - you're on the Big Island, not in a big city.

2. If your standards are very low and you just desperately need a place it will do, its not a room that you will want to order food in!; ) The rooms are dark and drab, i guess that covers how bad it really was, i don't even like thinking about it.

3. , total dive hotel cheap don't eat at uncle billys breakfast buffet though, your there to enjoy hawaii not the inside of uncle billys bathroom plus the food sucks.

4. Unfortunately the complete lack of self contained facilities (save for a tiny fridge which the service staff oddly kept removing things from and leaving them on the bench next to it) meant that we were highly dependent on the hotel and surrounding restaurants for all our food during our stay.

5. The buffet was ok, but you have to cover your food when you leave the table, otherwise the birds will have a feast with your plate.
