1. The one thumbs down is their $5 charge for parking but there's a public lot 50 feet behind the private one and since this is in downtown Kona, the small hotel charge discourages locals from taking the spaces reserved for hotel guests.

2. Rotting wood everywhere, paint peeling off nearly all surfaces, warning signs every time you turn you head, (if you want more than two towels they charge you!) 'complimentary breakfast' is bread, a toaster, coffee, and some papaya cut in half.
