2. This hotel is located in the Cascade Station area which is close to the airport, with lots of shops and restaurants right across the street, very convenient and easy to walk to.

4. It's actually rather convenient via 99 to hippish NW Portland (eg, Alberta street), as well as to the interstate (to get to the Columbia River Gorge, etc) but a distance from downtown and the Pearl District.

5. For eats you can find a fair number of reasonably prices chain restaurants conveniently across the street, which seem to cater specifically to the hotel runoff.

7. I've stayed at the sister hotel down the street, and it's a nice, traditional hotel where you don't have to interact with anyone else in the elevator and they have the business-expense buffet for breakfast, but this one's filled with life, light, and fun and I prefer it.
