2. Cascade Station has a nice mix of restaurants & stores, MAX mass transit is right there, and shuttles got my wife and I quickly from the hotel to the airport.

3. The hip spartan feel might have been less fun if the hotel weren't across the street from several decent restaurants and a mid-scale shopping center, featuring an Ikea store and a Target.

Besides the interior other benefits of this hotel included: free parking, free bottled water, computer friendly (free wi-fi and in-room computer hookups), indoor pool, gym, metro station down the street, safe neighborhood (important when I'm traveling with 3 kids), and a great shopping and restaurant center across the street.
