1. From the hallway balcony by elevator, we could see Downtown Disney and saw the big balloon up in the air a lot in the mornings, and fireworks at night.

4. If you happen to miss your bus back to the hotel and don't want to wait for the next one a good tip is to get the Disney bus to Downtown Disney which is free and then jump into a taxi, a Taxi is about $25 from the Transport hub to Blue Heron but only about $12 form Downtown DisneyWe were very happy and enjoyed our stay at the Blue Heron thoroughly; we would not hesitate to stay there again.

5. It is situated in an excellent position for Disney World, only a five minute drive to Downtown Disney.
