1. if you rent a car its free to park it at the hotel, you just have to sign in with the desk.

2. The security guards were good at telling us where to park, but that included up on a curb on a section of grass, a couple of times in the main driveways - unless you parked at 1pm, good luck finding a spot.

However, we came back several times around 9-10pm and had a security guard pointed us a parking spot (sometimes you have to get out of there by 9AM the next day, but I didn't have a problem as I always like to get going early when I'm in HI) to park, which we didn't feel was an issue as pointed out by other reviewers.
