1. I wasn't so keen on the updated room decor for the cost of the stay, but where they really excel is on their staff.

2. We stayed in a renovated Gold Room with refreshment [breakfast, Afternoon Tea, drinks and snacks] and concierge services, available at no additional cost and neither could be faulted which again added to the overall experience despite there being no view from our window.

3. Tip: you can waive internet costs by signing up for their presidents club online before you get there, via the Fairmont site.

6. It would have been nice to find 'coffee service' offered anywhere within the building vs having to leave to get a decent cup of joe that didn't cost you an arm and a leg.

8. Also the hotel does not have a pool or gymn, which is a drawback for those who like a swim/train In fact there is an arrangement with local gymns/YMCA but you have to pay extra and this costly.

The evening canapies were more than what we expected and were a real temptation as we left each night to go to a restaurantAs everything needed for hotel accomodation was provided we completed a very happy visit as we arrived - signed out in the knowledged that the cost was as already discharged; no funny 'extras'.

10. We had booked and discharged our account in advance so as to get the best discount - $288 cost per night was worth every cent.
