3. Hey if money is no object by all means go with a 1 bedroom oceanfront suite at one of the swanky resorts but for the rest of us the Mahana is a great way to enjoy Maui and save enough money to go back again next year.

5. The grocery store across the street is more expensive than if you go to the Safeway in Lahaina (get the Safeway card/ coupon card thing at the Customer Service desk- it's free and saves you some money).

Ate at several restaurants, Aloha Mixed Plate(local food(alot for $, decent taste/price), Bubba Gump,(same as all bubba gumps only better view), Hula Grill ( seafood was ok , nice location, price was adverage for location), Kool Cats( great Hamburger, best I ever had, decent $, worth the stop), Kimo's( seafood good food, great location, decent $$), PIONEER INN (only ate breakfast here, good decent $), Rusty Harpoon, (nice location, got the prime rib specials, good decent $) Ruths steakhouse(excellent steak, too much money though, went on our anniversary 6th may).
