1. The resort is isolated at the end of a residential street which makes it quiet, but this isolation makes it a bit of a nuisance to get places.

6. For those of you looking for some tips on island stuff: Our favorite food - Pono Market (in Kapa'a on the main drag, open 10:30-2, across the street from Foodland, they do local food cheap, and it's pretty much just take out, try the Kalua pork, crazy good).

7. Also CJ's in Princeville was pretty goodPizza - Kilauae Bakery Pau Hana Pizza (sooo good!) (right by the Kilauae Lighthouse)Ice Cream - Tropical Dreams Ice Cream (located across the street from Kilauae Bakery Pizza).

8. When I turned on my flashlight, the unit's 'Mountain View' was that of a small dark gully filled with mango and avocado trees, three stories below the street level.

9. We finally found the resort at the end of a dark residential street that I would not have guessed a resort would be situated.
