4. We did not have to park a car, but the public parking lot at the marina literally across the street from the GW is a lot cheaper (I think $6 or so a day vs $24) and there is a gate near the lagoon the enters into the parking lot.

5. It would actually be quicker and more convenient to arrange your pick-ups and drop-offs at the Ilikai Hotel which is right across the street from the Grand Waikikian.

9. Advantages: closer to the waterfront, more modern appliances, own back entrance which is closer to the street, access to the water slides pool - our suite gave us a view of the rooftop luau show, close to the boarding lessons at the lagoon area.
