1. There are a few nice beach bars and restaurants, and a very very nice lagoon on the property for swimming and boating.

2. There is a shopping mall right in the resort with many stores, restaurants, Louis Vuitton, Starbucks, etc. It is very nice and convenient, and pretty pricey.

5. Location is wonderful and is a part of the Hilton Hawaiian Village (which is a mini vacation all its own, shops, restaurants, conveniences) Rooms range from a studio to 3bdrm suites, which means cozy for two or spread out spacious for a whole family.

6. We also thought the on-site pizza restaurant was pretty good one night when we didn't feel like going out, and again no more expensive than in Chicago.
