1. (3) There are a lot of pools and an artificial lagoon, although the temperature of all are definitely below the ocean (it was cold!)(4) It's conveniently located, in the middle between Ala Moana Shopping center, and Galleria DFS.

3. We walked almost everywhere, just minutes from the Ala Moana and it's excellent food court, We needed a cab to Pearl Harbor and the Diamond Head Trail, so location is great.

I understand why they have to protect themselves, their location is truly great, and I'm sure there are freeloaders from other places that pretend they are guests and use all their amenities, but I think they have to find a better way to treat their real guests and make them truly feel like their guest is in paradise.

8. Location is wonderful and is a part of the Hilton Hawaiian Village (which is a mini vacation all its own, shops, restaurants, conveniences) Rooms range from a studio to 3bdrm suites, which means cozy for two or spread out spacious for a whole family.

9. While the rooms are fine, all else about the Grand Waikikian fails and it should be avoided in favor of the much better (and better located) full service hotels in the heart of Waikiki.
